This year, Minnesota Masonic Home (MMH) in Bloomington, Minn. celebrates 100 years of compassionate, exceptional care to aging adults. Located on 80 pristine acres of woods and pathways along the Minnesota River, MMH offers a continuum of care community that includes town homes, assisted living apartments, long-term or memory care and transitional care for those recovering from injuries.

Minnesota Masonic Children's Clinic

The ability to communicate and process language is critical for the healthy development of children. Ages birth to nine years is a particularly important time for a child to acquire language so that they may then learn to process information, problem solve and express themselves. For 30 years, Minnesota Masonic Children’s Clinic for Communication Disorders (formerly known as the Scottish Rite Clinic) works with children and their families to assess, diagnose and treat language disorders in a personalized approach that considers and embraces what makes each child unique.

Minnesota Masonic Heritage Center

Serving as a tribute to the concepts and contributions of Freemasonry, Minnesota Masonic Heritage Center (MMHC) is open to the public and provides the community with an elegant destination for events and performances, as well as an impressive Masonic museum and library for scholarly pursuits. Located on the Masonic Home campus, the expansive center features a 443-seat, jewel box theatre and auditorium, Masonic library and museum, ornate Masonic Lodge Room, and meeting spaces available for rental.

Top 3 Questions About Applying

Do you require an ACT score?

We need either an unweighted GPA or an ACT Composite score for the Signature and Legacy Scholarships. Applicants may choose which criterion to submit. For the Heritage, Career & Technical, and Undergraduate Scholarships, a GPA is required. Please take a look at the specific scholarship criteria for more information. If you have taken the SAT instead, you may translate the score to reflect the ACT.

If my GPA falls into the Signature or Legacy category, but my ACT does not, do I still qualify?

You only need to meet one criterion—the unweighted GPA or the ACT Composite score—for the Signature or Legacy Scholarships. If you meet one but not the other, you may still qualify. However, if your GPA or ACT score does not align with the criteria for these scholarships, you are not eligible. Another option would be to apply for the Undergraduate Scholarship after completing your first semester of college.

May I apply for more than one scholarship?

No, a student may only apply for one scholarship, based upon meeting the specific requirements of the criteria listed for that scholarship.
