2024 Criteria Requirements

Signature ($6,000 Award; Six Awards Available)
The Signature Scholarship may be renewable up to three additional years or a total of $24,000, if specific eligibility criteria are met.
To apply for a Signature-level scholarship, a student must have an unweighted GPA of 3.9 or higher, an ACT Composite score of 29 or higher, and must be enrolled in or planning to enroll in a four-year college or university.
Requirements: An essay of 300 words or less, two letters of recommendation (one from a current teacher, one from coach, organization advisor or community leader), high school transcript (must include grades for first semester of senior year) and a resumé (include information regarding activities, awards/honors, leadership, community service and any work experience).
Legacy ($4,000 Award; 11 Awards Available)
The Legacy Scholarship may be renewable up to three additional years or a total of $16,000, if specific eligibility criteria are met.
To apply for a Legacy-level scholarship, a student must have an unweighted GPA of 3.6–3.89, an ACT Composite score of 25 or higher, and must be enrolled in or planning to enroll in a four-year college or university.
Requirements: An essay of 300 words or less, two letters of recommendation (one from a current teacher, one from coach, organization advisor or community leader), high school transcript (must include grades for first semester of senior year) and a resumé (include information regarding activities, awards/honors, leadership, community service and any work experience).
Heritage ($3,000 Award; 20 Awards Available)
The Heritage Scholarship may be renewable up to three additional years or a total of $12,000, if specific eligibility criteria are met.
To apply for a Heritage-level scholarship, a student must have an unweighted GPA of 3.00–3.59, an ACT Composite score of 21 or higher, and must be enrolled in or planning to enroll in a four-year college or university.
Requirements: An essay of 300 words or less, two letters of recommendation (one from a current teacher, one from coach, organization advisor or community leader), high school transcript (must include grades for first semester of senior year) and a resumé (include information regarding activities, awards/honors, leadership, community service and any work experience).
Selfless Scholar ($5,000 Shared Award; 12 Awards Available)
The Selfless Scholar encourages students to look beyond themselves and acknowledge the extraordinary kindness of a friend, peer, or classmate by nominating that person for their character and telling their story. This program is unique because the $5,000 award is shared between the nominee and the nominator. The program will begin with 12 Selfless Scholar recognitions throughout Minnesota.
Career and Technical ($2,500 Award; 40 Awards Available)
The Career and Technical Scholarship may be renewable for one additional year or a total of $5,000, if specific eligibility criteria are met.
To apply for a Career and Technical Scholarship, a student must be enrolled in or planning to enroll in an accredited Vocational, Technical or Trades School/Program or a two-year community college seeking an associate degree.
Requirements: A personal statement of goals and educational plan, one letter of recommendation (from current teacher, coach, organization advisor or community leader), high school transcript (must include grades for first semester of senior year), and a resumé (include information regarding activities, awards/honors, leadership, community service, and any work experience).
Undergraduate ($3,000 Award; 30 Awards Available)
The Undergraduate Scholarship may be renewable for additional years, if specific eligibility criteria are met.
To apply for an Undergraduate-level scholarship, a student must have an unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher, and must be enrolled as a full-time student in a four-year college or university. Available to college freshmen, sophomores, or juniors.
Requires: A personal statement of goals and educational plan, one letter of recommendation (from current teacher, coach, organization advisor, community leader, or employer), college transcript, and a resumé (include information regarding activities, awards/honors, leadership, internships, community service, any work experience).
