The MMC Scholarship Committee met in April 2010 to select the five Signature Scholarships recipients and the three Masonic Legacy Scholarships recipients.  From over 250 submissions, a final short list of 48 candidates was reviewed by the committee.  In addition to their stats (i.e. GPA and ACT scores) the applicants were carefully evaluated for their essay answers, extracurricular activities and letters of reference.

Those students who were selected to receive scholarships represent outstanding academic and personal achievement - all scoring in the 96th to 99th percentile in the national ACT test range - as well as a shared goal indicated by all eight recipients: to pursue learning that will provide a means of allowing them to contribute to their society.
