Outright Gifts

What is an Outright Gift?

Basically, it is the simple transfer of gift property to help support the charitable activities you consider important without any conditions or terms of trust.

Outright gifts remain a valuable and viable source of donations for Minnesota Masonic Charities and its programs.  Outright gifts can be made in a variety of forms (as indicated below).

  • Gifts of Cash
  • Matching Gifts
  • Credit Card Charges
  • Electronic Funds Transfer
  • Securities
  • Gifts-in-Kind
  • Wire Transfers

Cash
A gift of cash is the simplest form of giving, whether you wish to create a scholarship, support the work to find a cure for cancer, benefit elder care services or designate monies to a capital campaign.

Securities
An alternative to cash is a gift of appreciated securities, which can offer income tax deduction benefits as well as savings on capital gains.

Personal Property /Real Estate
Gifts of personal property as well as personal real estate offer donors an opportunity to give as well as benefit from an income tax deduction and reduction of estate taxes.

An opportunity to leave a legacy and make a difference.
