Minnesota Masonic Historical Society and Museum

Building Upon Our Heritage

The Minnesota Masonic Historical Society & Museum (MMHS&M) seeks to preserve and promote education about the history of Minnesota Freemasonry and to relate that history to that of the state of Minnesota.

Masonic Historical Society & Museum (MMHS&M)

The MMHS&M offices and Museum are located at the Minnesota Masonic Home in Bloomington. Open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  There is no entry fee and all are welcome to visit.  The Museum is not staffed and is self-guiding.  The exhibits are rotated and feature general information on Masonic history, Masonic artifacts and photographs.

Traveling Exhibits

The exceptionally successful MMHS&M Traveling Exhibits program is unique among historical organizations in the state of Minnesota. Masonic and Order of the Eastern Star organizations can request the exhibits to be displayed in their meeting hall or at special events.

Customized historical displays may be kept for a period of 1-3 months. If you would like to request an exhibit, please call the Minnesota Masonic Historical Society & Museum at 952-948-7814 or Contact Us.
